It is the day where mostly all Singaporeans will wear red and white, which symbolizes the Singapore flag.
Singaporeans will gather at the place where the National Day Parade is held or at home to watch the live telecast of the National Day Parade. Singaporeans who are not in Singapore can also watch online where the National Day Parade will be recorded. It is a day where most residents will gather together to sing the National Day songs and the National Anthem.
The National Day Parade is an annual event that is held on the 9th of August every year. It is a 2 hour long parade which features choirs, school bands, and marching groups from the various schools’ uniform groups, Singapore military Armed forces, and other organisations.
